Frye Festival 2011 Moncton - 25th to 1st May
Canadian icon Margaret Atwood headlines Moncton's 2011 Northrop Frye Festival!
Frye Festival in Moncton brings together world
renowned authors with audiences of all ages in a celebration of words
every year in New Brunswick, Canada. This bi-lingual Festival honours
Canada's famous literary critic Northrop Frye.
Margaret Atwood will deliver the annual Northrop
Frye-Antonine Maillet lecture during this year's Frye Festival.
2011 is the twelfth anniversary and
during the days of Frye Festival, Moncton will see and hear 30
authors - from Canada and across the world - as they choose which Festival
events to attend.
More than fifty occasions, during the festival week, promote the pleasure and
discovery of reading in debates, workshops and dialogues in
schools, cafes, restaurants, bars, theatres, and libraries throughout
the Greater Moncton Region.
