Greater Moncton Relay For Life 2010
When: Friday, June 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Crandall University, 333 Gorge Road, Moncton
The Relay For Life event is a 12-hour overnight community effort where individuals and teams camp out, barbecue, enjoy live entertainment, and take turns walking around the track relay style to raise funds for the fight against cancer.
As day turns to night, participants will light hundreds of luminaries around the track in an inspiring ceremony to honor cancer survivors as well as friends and family members who have died from the disease.
The Relay For Life event represents hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
