Historical Sugar Bush Weekend at Kings Landing Historical Settlement
When: Two weekends! March 20th/21st and March 27th and 28th, 2010 Where: Kings Landing Historical Settlement, Exit #253 Trans Canada, West of Fredericton, 20 Kings Landing Road, Kings Landing, New Brunswick
Costumed staff will be in the village boiling sap in iron cauldrons over an open fire, demonstrating the art of syrup and sugar making as it was performed 150 years ago.
Children and kids-at-heart may sample a sweet treat of candy-on-the-snow made from the syrup right in front of their eyes.
Pancake breakfast is served all day, and Sleigh or wagon rides will be available and the Kings Landing Museum Store will have lots of maple products available for sale.
